• TruckWeight, through
EDC, provides financing for a term loan to buyers outside
of Canada for amounts under USD$100,000.
• The loan can be single or multiple draw, for amounts
up to 85% of the invoice value.
• A 15% down payment from the buyer to TruckWeight,
Inc and a signed purchase order is required.
• The loan will be unsecured.
• Standard costs to the borrower are competitive loan
interest rates and a USD $500 documentation fee.
Fast and simple! Once EDC has received
a copy of the signed purchase order and credit information
on the buyer, EDC starts the approval process. Once approved,
EDC will sign a loan agreement with the buyer, and the funds
are disbursed directly to the exporter for the TruckWeight
truck scales according to the loan agreement and terms of
the buyer-approved invoice. The disbursement is triggered
by EDC’s receipt of the buyer-approved invoice.
