TruckWeight Inc. is a provider of accurate, wireless truck scales that helps North America's trucking companies reduce overweight fines, eliminate out-of-route miles, maximize loads, and increase revenue and driver productivity.

Beginning in 2002 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, TruckWeight was created to fill the gap left by existing vehicle weighing technologies. Prior to TruckWeight, companies could either:
1. Use pay-per-use scales that result in out-of-rout miles and lost productivity.
2. Invest in expensive, station-based scales.
3. Leverage complex, vehicle-based systems that are complex, difficult to install, and are generally beyond the price range of most mid-sized trucking companies.
4. Use an inaccurate air gauge that still result in scale charges, out-of-route miles, and wasted time and fuel.

Smart Scale is an accurate, affordable way to eliminate the complicated installation,vmaintenance, and downtime associated with hardwired onboard scales. Based on temperature and pressure changes in your vehicle’s air suspension, Smart Scale calculates axle weight and gross vehicle weight measurements that are accurate to within 0.3%, or roughly 150 pounds.
Because it’s wireless, Smart Scale lets you monitor gross and axle weights from up to 500 feet away: inside the cab, on the loader, or wherever it’s safe and convenient.

Installation
Smart Scale is the simplest scale on the market to install. It has just three components:
the Smart Sensor with integrated antenna and 3/8 inch fi ttings; a tee fi tting for the air line; and the wireless handheld receiver. Installation typically takes 30 minutes for a standard five-axle tractor-trailer and requires no special tools or skills.
