TruckWeight. is a provider of simple, affordable, accurate, wireless truck scales, rail car scales and fork lift scales, all of which can integrate with one another, all referred to as Smart Scale that helps large and small fleets, waste, construction, heavy haul, bulk material, and other companies and individuals better manage their operations with timely important data in the field and in the back office, while reducing overweight fines, eliminating out-of-route miles, maximizing loads, increasing revenue, driver productivity, and safety.

Beginning in 2002 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada , TruckWeight was created to fill the gap left by existing vehicle weighing technologies. Prior to TruckWeight, companies could either:

1. Use pay-per-use scales that result in out-of-rout miles and lost productivity.
2. Invest in expensive, station-based scales.
3. Leverage complex, vehicle-based systems that are complex, difficult to install, and are generally beyond the price range of most mid-sized trucking companies.
4. Use an inaccurate air gauge that still result in scale charges, out-of-route miles, and wasted time and fuel.  Companies could not obtain weights of empty trailers at the dock with out power hook up or tractor hook up.          
5. Could not weigh rail cars with out power, or at oil refineries in explosive environments. Could not communicate wireless between the tractor trailer and back office.

Realizing that there was a much better way, TruckWeight teamed up with experienced truck parts experts and top electronics technologists and engineers to introduce the TruckWeight wireless truck scale.
