How Smart Scale works.

Smart Scale uses sensors to measure temperature and pressure changes in a vehicle’s air suspension and relays this data to a handheld receiver using a low-powered radio transmitter. The receiver interprets the data and provides an axle weight and gross vehicle weight that’s accurate to within 0.3%, or approximately 150 pounds.

Free yourself from the confines of the cab. Our handheld wireless receiver has a range of 500 feet (155 meters), so you can check your weights from the loading machine or anywhere it’s safe and convenient. Smart Scale’s portability puts you in command of how much payload you need and precisely where to place it.

The simplest scale to install.

Smart Scale has just three components: the Smart Sensor with integrated antenna and 3/8 inch fittings; a tee fitting for the air line; and the wireless handheld receiver. Because it’s wireless, Smart Scale eliminates the complicated installation, faulty connections, and downtime associated with hardwired onboard scales. Installation requires no special skills or tools and takes about 30 minutes for a five-axle tractor-trailer.
