Smart Scale Measures Up To The Alternatives

With Smart Scale’s wireless technology, you no longer have to weigh the benefits of a sophisticated pneumatic onboard scale against the maintenance, downtime, and complexity associated with a hardwired installation.

Hardwired scales draw power from the truck’s electrical system. Connections are susceptible to corrosion, wear, poor contact, and impact from road debris. Smart Scale uses AA batteries for power and requires no wires for installation or use.

• Advantage: Smart Scale

Typical installation for a hardwired scale can exceed 5 hours, with high labor costs, unproductive downtime. Each Smart Scale sensor takes 10 minutes to install and requires and no special tools or skills.

• Advantage: Smart Scale

Dash-mounted scales and air gauges may require the driver to climb in and out of the cab to check weights, which can consume precious time and may compromise safety. Smart Scale gives drivers the flexibility to take a weight measurement within 500 feet (155 meters) of the vehicle: anywhere it’s convenient and safe.

• Advantage: Smart Scale

Smart Scale is accurate to within 0.3% of gross vehicle weight, allowing users to load more and stay legal. Air gauges, load cells, and other scales aren’t as precise.
